Diani Job centre is a community focused organization, comprised of professionals who are dedicated to deliver value. We pride ourselves in our adaptive approaches and sound implementation strategies that are anchored on delivering high quality of service and professionalism. Our mission is to empower women and disadvantaged groups to own and manage their own transformation processes through entrepreneurship skills training, business advisory services, job skill training and placement directly related to the opportunities in the blue economy in the west Indian Ocean.
We came together in 2011, as individuals from multi-faceted background to use our natural talents and gifts to give back to the community around us, jointly we felt poverty as a mindset needed to be eradicated and our community would benefit from education, training and linkage to opportunities in the Blue economy. The Blue economy offers a platform for small and medium enterprises to offer goods and services, employment opportunities for individuals with the right skill set and programs to progress the community through public and private partnerships With growth of business and improved income per homestead would a improved living standard, reduction in crime and crime related problems.
Tourism, one of the world’s top job creators and a lead export sector, especially for developing countries, can play a significant role in the achievement of SDGs 1: eradication of poverty, 3: gender equality, 7: environmental sustainability and 8: global partnerships for development.
Through our centre It is expected that participants will be able to exploit opportunities for either employment or self-employment, understand and gain confidence in entrepreneurship and develop an appreciation for better financial management. It is also expected that this will result in improved living standards and reduced social vices associated with unemployment.

Our Focus
We focus on the five sustainable development goals;
Through job skill training and job placement we were able to link job seekers to available job opportunities, Entrepreneurship skills and MSMEs incubator will allow viability of the business provide wealth creation in the communities.
With wealth creation and increase in job opportunities there will be access to nutrition.
The centre focusses on women and youth thereby increasing their opportunity to access employment and business skills training thereby gender.
working with the community on conservation projects like plastic waste collection our centre helps to conserve marine life. We also encourage the development of aquaculture to reduce dependence ocean fishing.
Through the centre we are continually look for opportunities to partner with local government to support the centre programs, we source for funding from the private sector for the community projects as well as working with both Public and private sectors to provide learning opportunities
